Using extraordinary close-ups and ground-breaking 8K video technology, Hokusai\u2019s paintings and prints are examined by world experts who are at the forefront of Digital Art History.<\/p>\n<p>Hokusai spent his life celebrating and studying his fellow humans as well as obsessively exploring the natural and spiritual worlds, using the famous volcano Mount Fuji as a backdrop and spiritual presence. He knew much tragedy, was struck by lightning and lived for years in poverty, but never gave up his constant search for perfection in his art.
