The film documents the unique places of the Danube's alluvial plains and its rare fauna and flora. But also it shows the changing landscape in the river surroundings. The director is looking for the image of the landscape he remembers and knows from the stories of his ancestors. The document shows the acute need of stopping the impact of the environment on the life of the river and the desire to live with its wildness, naturalness and authentic values.
